Euthanasia is a procedure in which the veterinarian helps the pet end its suffering by terminating its life. This procedure is only performed in cases of terminal disease or no possible positive outcome.
The appropriate time to perform euthanasia is when the animal is suffering and at the same time, there isn’t a possible way to alleviate the suffering. If put your mind on this part of the procedure you will know deep inside that you are helping the animal pass on with ease and that’s the only possible way that you can comfort it.
