The UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH) decided to launch a series of free, public, educational lectures dedicated to health topics in animals. The series is entitled “An evening with Vet Med”. All the lectures will be held on UC Davis campus once a month and will be totally free and open to the public. The lectures will cover both small and large domestic animals, so the owners will be able to learn something new on how to take care best for their furry family members.

The first lecture is on June 26th. Here is a list of the topics and the dates:

1.) June 26th: Farrier services – Hoof care myths and truths

2.) July 24th: Basic first aid and preventative care for horses

3.) August 21st: Pet dental health

These are the first topics they will cover, but many more will follow.

All the lectures are free, but participants must register in order to attend.
