The video below shows how important helping injured wildlife is.
Every day, wildlife stray to the roads and gets injured either by moving vehicles or other animals and people.
If you ever pass by an injured animal, make sure to call animal control so the animal can be taken to an emergency veterinary clinic. If the animal control is not available and you are able to help the animal in distress, be a good Samaritan and take that animal to a veterinarian.

“Do you know that the Animal Emergency Service will see any injured wildlife brought in by good samaritans? If you encounter injured wildlife and are near any of our practices, you can bring them to us for assessment and prompt medical treatment. Check out this video on a possum and her adorable joey that we treated.”
