The Global Symposium this year organized by Hill’s is scheduled to be this month, on the 27th and 28th of April in Lisbon, Portugal. It is expected that more than 200 veterinarians from around 30 countries will attend this year. This year’s novelty is that the symposium will be available to attend online free of charge for all veterinarian and veterinary students around the world.

The focus this year is put on the best nutrition for the pets and our role in their healthy aging. This will help many veterinarians that treat elderly dogs and cats. Recent studies from all around the world will be discussed, on the subjects of aging, chronic kidney disease, and how important role nutrition has on the welfare of the animal and the length of its life.

This symposium is designed to educate and inspire veterinarians and all veterinary professionals to challenge the nutrition in order to improve the life of their patients.
