About Michigan Humane Berman Clinic

The clinic is part of a Humane Organization that started over 100 years ago. It was founded in 1877 and is the state’s oldest and largest animal welfare organization and works to improve and save lives through compassionate care, community engagement, and advocacy for animals.

About the staff

We currently employ 5-6 DVM, 9-10 Vet Techs, 6 Receptionists, and a Kennel Attendant.

Volunteering and internships possibilities

Due to Not at the moment, but occasionally we offer the possibilities.

Working pace

Currently, we have around 40 patients per day.

Which events do you celebrate at your clinic?

We celebrate Vet Tech Week by providing candy and cards for our employees and the same goes for World Veterinary Day. Other than that we love celebrating our staff’s birthdays and we also celebrate holidays together.

Most common vet cases

We mostly do vaccinations and spaying/neutering.

What is the most remarkable case that came to your clinic, one that the whole staff remembers to this day?

We are a humane organization, so we’ve had plenty. We help animals and people when other places wouldn’t.

What do you, or the management team do to maintain a healthy work environment?

We like to throw pizza parties.

Do many of your clients take advantage of pet insurance?

Some of our clients use it.
