The news report that there will be free emergency care for government service animals and TSA (Transportation Security Administration) animals during the government shutdown.
A chain hospital, Compassion – First Pet Hospitals, is offering free veterinary care to all government service and TSA animals in more than 10 states in the United States of America.
The chief executive officer of Compassion – First Pet Hospitals said that they will be honored to treat the animals that serve vital roles within the government.
The caregivers of these service animals can simply bring them in one of the hospitals and just show their government ID. They will immediately receive free emergency veterinary care.
