Koala is a cute and fluffy animal that is a herbivorous marsupial native to Australia.
Koalas usually live in eucalyptus woodlands. They have special bacteria in their gastrointestinal system to digest the eucalyptus leaves. The eucalyptus has very low nutritional value and because of that they are sedentary animals (very low physical activity) and sleep most of the day.
