Intestinal torsion
Intestinal torsuon in animals is a common cause of acute bowel obstruction. When an intestine twists around itself and the mesentery that surrounds it, it results in a volvulus or simply put intestinal torsion. Symptoms like abdominal pain, bloating, constipation and bloody stool may occur.
